I think they are the most memorable haunted objects because they are so creepy.
It's that blank stare with those dark eyes that gives you the creepy feeling that they are going to come to life. *shivers*
My belief is that they are small replicas of humans; they're designed to look like 'us'. If spirits are looking for a human-like host, they have a wide variety of dolls to choose from.
i agree with sister midnite, it's creepy that they look just like us.
