decomposition and weather conditions. It's hard to tell with these old houses

I think there is a stain at the ridges. I don't necessary think that it is caused by paranormal stuff. She went missing for awhile. It's hard to tell how long the body had been decomposing on the floor before someone found it.

It was a cold time of the year? Since the stain seems to be basically in the body area and less in the limbs, my guess is that the last part of her body to retain heat was the core whereas the limbs froze quickly. Where there was body heat moisture was retained until the outer layers froze and through to the middle. The freezing of the body and depending on its acidity or alkalinity could have left a stain on the ground. I suppose an experiment to try is to take an ice cube tray and freeze an acidic fluid and an alkaline fluid in the cube holders. Once, frozen, lay them down on a sidewalk and let the sun begin to thaw them out and see which one might leave a stain. I'd probably try lemon juice and herbal tea...
